ZHARA PASSITO
Moscato: Its origins date back to the Middle Eastern Mediterranean basin and it was the Greek colonists who spread it to Sicily. Its name derives from "Muscum", musk, whose characteristic aroma is found in grapes. The grapes have variable dimensions, spherical, with yellow colors that fade to greenish and golden as they ripen under the sun's rays. The vine is very aromatic.
The maturation gives a high concentration of sugars.
Grapes used: Moscato (100%).
FERMENTATION
The grapes are crushed and left to steep for about 5 hours, the are gently pressed and fermented at 18-20°C.
TASTING NOTES
Deep yellow..
Intense a characteristic fragrance reminiscent of rose petals..
The palate of the connoisseur is sweet, waem and robust.
ACCOMPANIMENT
Wine at the end of the meal, accompanied by a pleasant dried fruit and sweets.
Serving temperature 12°-15°C.
